Make sure that you review the DOC Visiting Rules.
Before you can visit an offender housed in a DOC facility you must fill out a Visiting Application.
VISITING DAYS AND HOURS Visiting days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 3:50 pm. Initial processing begins at 9:30 am. Holidays are no exceptions. Visitors may stay as long as they wish during the visiting hours. Visitors will not be allowed back into the facility once they leave. In the event of over-crowding, visitation staff may first ask for volunteers to leave and then will begin terminating visitors in the order processed into the visiting room, unless the visitor has traveled more than 400 miles or on the amount of space needed. Visitors arriving on or after 3:00 p.m. will not be allowed to visit that day. Processing ceases from 11:00 a.m. until approximately 12:00 p.m. each visiting day for inmate count procedures.
The change from coin-operated machines to card-operated machines has been made. Visitors are required to purchase a card ($1.00) from the machine in the front foyer and then may load an amount of money onto the card via the same machine utilizing denominations from $1.00 to $20.00. The card then acts similar to a gift card in the vending machines..
