Statistical Reports and Bulletins

The GSR unit periodically publishes several reports regarding CDOC's offender population. Many of these reports are posted monthly while other are quarterly or annually. Monthly Population and Capacity Report

Monthly Population and Capacity Report presents data regarding the offender population on the last day of each month and is published before the 10th day of the following month. Current Report

Fiscal Year Statistical Report

Fiscal Year Statistical Report presents data regarding the CDOC offender population. Youthful Offender System Report

Youthful Offender System Report is a needs assessment of YOS presenting current programs, statistics and completion rates for a given fiscal year. Current Report

State Criminal Alien Assistance Program

State Criminal Alien Assistance Program is an annual bulletin that reports the funds CDOC receives from SCAAP for the cost of incarcerating illegal foreign born offenders held by the state prison. Current Report

    Colorado Correctional Alternative Program

Colorado Correctional Alternative Program (Bootcamp) is a statistical bulletin that is no longer being published due to the suspension of the program.

   Recidivism and Cumulative Return Reports

Recidivism and Cumulative Return Report examines recidivism and cumulative return rates of offenders sentenced to and subsequently released from adult prison in Colorado. Recidivism is defined as returning to prison for either a new crime to a technical violation within three years of release. The most recent report was completed in 2007.
